This shows that the genres my group chose to analyse are quite popular, indicating that they are quite mainstream. Therefore when creating our music video we will have to aim for a very wide audience, as opposed to a niche one.


- When creating our music video we will have to take genre into consideration quite heavily as it can affect many aspects of the video. For example if we were creating a 'Pop' genre music video but used low key lighting and had a dark colour scheme, it would not suit the music and therefore would look quite odd, so would not please audiences. Therefore when we come up with a concept for our music video we will have to ensure that it is appropriate for the genre we choose.
