Synopsis of Idea

Music Video

For our music video the main focus will be a band performing with numerous cutaways in between the shots of them playing. The video will be set in a studio with low key lighting, following a dark colour scheme. Within our video we aim to use a variety of angles and distances in order to keep the audience engaged and to create a disjointed feeling to reflect the music genre. 

The cutaways will consist of a female protagonist that is angry and upset with her husband/boyfriend so she is set out to get revenge. The cutaways will start with close up shots of the female driving her along the country and as the song progress' and the music picks up in tempo, the female protagonist becomes more and more angry, with the use of a variety of different camera angles and distances it will help portray this and reflect the music. 

Digipak

From our research we have found that we like the style of many of the muse albums. We particularly like how the majority of them are produced graphically as opposed to photographs, therefore we will try and replicate this digital design when creating our own digipak. We also quite like that there are no specific images of the band on their album covers - it simply focuses on the graphically created image.

Website

From the research we have conducted, we want our website to be very interactive with the use of social meda icons and live feeds as this allows the audience to stay up to date with the band and follow their latest activity. We also notcied that a lot of bands we looked into have a minimal colour scheme throughout as it suits their genre of Rock/Alternative. We also need to make that the website and digipak link together, with a similar colour scheme, same font etc.
