- Our ideas and plans were very good however we would have to collect extensive test shots of what we have planned in order to decide if they would be effective and work within our music video - we intend to collect some of this test footage this weekend (20/09/14-21/09/14).
- We need to refine further what costume and props we will need for our music video. Will we have costume changes? Where will we get our costumes from? Are there any specific props that we will need to source?
- We also we advised to consider our set design for our studio based proportion of our video. What will the backdrop be? Will we need additional lighting? What instruments will we need/how will they be set up? Are there any other props etc we will need to fill the space?
- We have also decided that in light of the feedback we are going to do some more thorough research into digipaks within the 'alternative rock' genre - so that when creating and designing our own digipak our ideas will be well informed with previous existing examples and conventions.
- We also intend to do location scouting for our narrative portion of our music video - as we have to find a suitable country road which will be safe to film on.
From this moment onward we will now start to further develop our current idea - creating a very detailed, shot by shot storyboard for our video. We will also consider in detail the aesthetics of our video e.g. costume, props and set design.
